AS Rakvere Metsamajand ( Rakvere Forest Industry ), which has been operating since 1994, is a company based on private capital. Our predecessor, the state company Rakvere Metsamajand, was the first one to manufacture milled log houses. More than forty years ago the company started to manufacture very popular wooden sauna-cottages "SIMO".
Nowadays we are producing high-quality wooden squared log houses on four assembly lines, including two the fully automatic CNC timber processing centres Hundegger K-2.
Also we are producing in our factory windows, doors, stairs and barriers.
Our architects- constructors are able to quickly and professionally recommend and design a garden house, cottage or dwelling house for the customer. The fulfillment of orders is extremely customer- centered and flexible. The wishes of the client are maximally taken into consideration throughout the production process.
As we have equipment for both gluing of glue beam and for longitudinal connection, we are capable of producing wall logs and beams up to 12 m in lenght and 240 mm in thickness.

Our production based on a territory of 7,0 ha in the town of Rakvere, Lääne- Virumaa. The heated production area is above 6.000 m2. We employ more than 110 people.
